not only did i have to move all my christmas and birthday presents to berlin, which was quite a trip with a 40×30cm calendar luggage adding to the normal trolley.
we spend new year’s eve in berlin at home, had raclette and lots of fun with our friends

now, as you certainly have noticed, that’s a while ago, but i wanted to keep you up to date from the start of 2008, so…

until today, i worked five of nine months of my civil service. more and more, i get the feeling of the time passing by very fast. in the beginning i felt very biased about the work (and unfortunately i am feeling this way until today), but i got used to the work and many of its facettes such as death, misery and anxiety… although, i think „used to“ is a term much to strong; i probably started to repress, as the psychologists say, the bad feelings that are connected with being sick. you get insights in our social system you’d rather want not to be as intense as they actually are. i just like to refer to the discussion on the man with a carcinom, untreatable and still having surgeries in our hospital. you can read that article here.

our home is developing more and more. last monday our rentor finally sent an electrician to look after our cable work in the living room. all is fixed and now we can, at last (and after six months of living here!!!) build in a lamp. isn’t that simply great?
yes. i thought the same.

so far concerning my life. maybe i’ll write something tomorrow again.
